Yannis Chaviaras is a Greek–Belgian artist and storyteller based in the Brussels area.
Born in Antwerp and raised in Greece, his work blends visual art with narrative, drawing inspiration from memory, place, and personal experience.
After years working primarily in stone sculpture, he transitioned to watercolor, developing a distinctive hand-painted approach to storytelling.
His debut graphic novel, Deinotherium, is an art-driven, fully illustrated work that explores nostalgia, imagination, and the quiet moments that shape us.
Alongside his artistic practice, he works as an IT Solution Analyst.
